Ingredients

28 oz cans
crushed tomatoes

medium
onion, finely chopped

cloves
garlic, minced

tablespoon
Italian seasoning
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Lightly spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
Pour crushed tomatoes into the slow cooker.
Add chopped onion and minced garlic.
Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Cook on LOW for 8–10 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours until onions are soft and flavors deepen.
Taste and adjust seasoning. Blend slightly if a smoother texture is desired.
Notes
For deeper flavor, add 1/2 cup red wine at the beginning. Stir in fresh basil before serving for brightness.
