Instructions
Place the raw ground beef in the bottom of the slow cooker and break it up slightly.
Spoon the cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soups over the beef.
Add the chopped onion and frozen mixed vegetables on top.
Sprinkle the uncooked egg noodles over the mixture.
Pour the water or beef broth evenly over the top. Season with salt and pepper. Do not stir.
Cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours until beef is fully cooked and noodles are tender.
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top 15-20 minutes before serving and allow it to melt.
Gently stir before serving and serve warm.
Notes
Use beef broth for deeper flavor. For extra creaminess, stir in 1/2 cup sour cream before serving. Do not stir during cooking to ensure proper layering.
