Ingredients

  • 1.5-2 lb ground beef
  • 1 10.5 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 10.5 oz can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 cups uncooked egg noodles
  • 1.5 cups water or beef broth
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Place the raw ground beef in the bottom of the slow cooker and break it up slightly.
  • Spoon the cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soups over the beef.
  • Add the chopped onion and frozen mixed vegetables on top.
  • Sprinkle the uncooked egg noodles over the mixture.
  • Pour the water or beef broth evenly over the top. Season with salt and pepper. Do not stir.
  • Cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours until beef is fully cooked and noodles are tender.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese on top 15-20 minutes before serving and allow it to melt.
  • Gently stir before serving and serve warm.

Notes

Use beef broth for deeper flavor. For extra creaminess, stir in 1/2 cup sour cream before serving. Do not stir during cooking to ensure proper layering.
