Ingredients

  • 1 can baked beans (28 oz)
  • 0.5 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp onion and herb seasoning
  • 0.25 cup minced onions
  • 0.5 cup chopped onions
  • 0.5 cup chopped green bell pepper

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until fully browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion and herb seasoning, and minced onions. Cook for about 5 minutes until onions soften.
  • In a large baking dish, combine the beef mixture with baked beans, chopped onions, and green bell pepper.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Cover and bake for 30 minutes until beans are bubbling and peppers are tender.
  • Remove from oven, let rest a few minutes, then serve warm.
