Ingredients

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 2 cups water or chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and black pepper

Instructions

  • Whisk together cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, water or broth, garlic powder, and onion powder in the slow cooker until smooth.
  • Place chicken breasts into the slow cooker and turn them in the sauce to coat.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours until chicken is tender and cooked through.
  • Gently stir the gravy and season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, egg noodles, or pasta.

Notes

For extra richness, stir in cream or butter at the end. Add vegetables for more texture and color.
