Ingredients

  • 4 cups crumbled cornbread
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup diced onion
  • 0.5 cup diced celery
  • 2 tsp poultry seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Crumble cornbread and dice onion and celery.
  • Combine cornbread, onion, celery, and poultry seasoning in a large bowl.
  • Gradually stir in chicken broth until mixture is moistened.
  • Grease a baking dish, transfer mixture, and smooth top.
  • Bake 30–35 minutes until top is lightly golden and center is heated through.
  • Let cool briefly before serving.

Notes

Use slightly stale cornbread for best texture. Add melted butter or chopped hard-boiled eggs for richness.
