Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
Mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips if using.
Pour batter into loaf pan and bake for 45–50 minutes until set but fudgy.
Cool slightly, slice, and serve.
