Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8-inch pan.
Peel and chop apples into small pieces and set aside.
Whisk melted butter, sugar, and eggs in a bowl until smooth.
Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir gently until just combined.
Fold in chopped apples. Batter will be thick.
Pour batter into pan and bake 35–40 minutes until golden and set.
Cool 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use firm apples for best texture. Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.
