Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Layer sliced potatoes in the dish, season with salt and pepper, then add beef and cheese. Repeat layers.
Whisk cheese soup, evaporated milk, and milk until smooth. Pour over the casserole.
Cover with foil and bake for 60 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
Let the casserole rest before serving so the layers set properly.
