Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 4 cups hot water
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • ground nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F and prepare a water bath.
  • Whisk sweetened condensed milk with hot water until smooth.
  • Beat eggs until light and frothy in a separate bowl.
  • Temper eggs by slowly whisking in the warm milk mixture.
  • Stir in vanilla extract and salt.
