ripe bananas, mashed

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare two 8-inch pans.
Mix dry ingredients in one bowl.
Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs, vanilla, sour cream, and bananas.
Stir in dry ingredients and fold in walnuts and chocolate.
Bake 25–30 minutes, cool, then layer with custard and garnish.
Notes
Garnish with bananas just before serving.
