Shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or blend)

Salted butter, melted

Garlic powder (reduce to 2 tsp if using garlic salt)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces.
Combine melted butter and garlic powder in a large bowl and toss biscuit pieces until coated.
Layer half of the biscuit pieces in the dish, sprinkle half of the cheese, add remaining biscuit pieces, and top with remaining cheese.
Bake 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly. Tent with foil if top browns too quickly. Let sit 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm and enjoy immediately for best results. Customize with bacon, herbs, or jalapeños if desired.
