Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 package Fideo Pasta (~7 oz)
  • 2 Medium Potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 Large Tomato, chopped
  • 0.5 Medium Onion, sliced (reserve other half)
  • 1-2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cubes Knorr Chicken Flavor Bouillon
  • 4-6 cups Water
  • 2-3 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  • Prep ingredients: chop tomato, slice onion, mince garlic, peel and dice potatoes.
  • Brown ground beef over medium heat, season lightly, drain excess fat, set aside.
  • Toast fideo in oil until golden brown, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  • Add tomato, onion, and garlic to toasted fideo, cook 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in water and bouillon, bring to gentle boil to build the broth.
  • Add potatoes and browned beef, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20–25 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  • Taste and adjust salt and pepper, serve hot.

Notes

Toast the fideo carefully to avoid burning. Uniform potato cubes ensure even cooking.
