Instructions
Prep ingredients: chop tomato, slice onion, mince garlic, peel and dice potatoes.
Brown ground beef over medium heat, season lightly, drain excess fat, set aside.
Toast fideo in oil until golden brown, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
Add tomato, onion, and garlic to toasted fideo, cook 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in water and bouillon, bring to gentle boil to build the broth.
Add potatoes and browned beef, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20–25 minutes until potatoes are tender.
Taste and adjust salt and pepper, serve hot.
Notes
Toast the fideo carefully to avoid burning. Uniform potato cubes ensure even cooking.
