Ingredients

  • 1 box saltine or Ritz-style crackers (12 oz)
  • 3/4 cup olive oil or avocado oil
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Place crackers in a large gallon-size zip-top bag.
  • Pour oil over crackers, seal the bag, and gently toss to coat evenly.
  • Add Italian seasoning and crushed red pepper flakes. Reseal and toss gently until evenly distributed.
  • Let crackers rest for 8–12 hours, turning the bag occasionally to distribute seasoning.
  • Serve as-is or bake at 250°F for 15–20 minutes for a drier, crisp texture.

Notes

Adjust crushed red pepper flakes to control heat. Baking is optional for extra crunch.
