Ingredients

  • 1 large green cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup carrots, grated
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Place shredded cabbage and grated carrots into a large bowl and toss gently.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk sugar, mayonnaise, buttermilk, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes
