fruit pie filling (apple, cherry, or peach), 21 oz each

yellow cake mix, dry (about 15¼ oz)

unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Spread fruit pie filling evenly over the bottom of the prepared dish.
Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the fruit layer. Do not stir.
Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much surface as possible.
Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden brown and bubbling around the edges.
Let rest for 10 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Optional chopped nuts add extra crunch.
