Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Spread the rice evenly in the dish. Whisk together both soups and the water, then pour over the rice.
Place the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture.
Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the chicken and dot with butter.
Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour without uncovering.
Remove from oven, let rest 5 minutes, then serve hot.
Notes
Do not uncover during baking to ensure the rice cooks properly. Let rest briefly before serving.
