Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl.
Cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk, mixing just until combined.
Layer batter and strawberry puree in pan and gently swirl.
Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
Notes
Avoid overmixing for the most tender crumb. Use fresh strawberry puree or preserves.
