Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and stir until well mixed.
  • Place over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Reduce heat to low and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
  • Remove from heat and let cool completely before storing.

Notes

Sauce thickens as it cools. Adjust red pepper flakes for desired heat level.
