Ingredients

  • 6 cups day-old brioche, cubed
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp bourbon (optional)
  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar for banana pudding
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk for banana pudding
  • 4 lb apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup brown sugar for apple butter
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon for apple butter
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Line the slow cooker and keep it between half and two-thirds full.
  • For bread pudding, combine bread, eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and bourbon if using.
  • Cook bread pudding on LOW for 2.5 to 3 hours until set.
  • For banana foster pudding, mix bananas, butter, sugar, flour, milk, and cinnamon.
  • Cook banana pudding on LOW for about 2.5 hours.
  • For apple butter, combine apples, cider, sugar, spices, and lemon juice.
  • Cook apple butter on LOW for 8 to 10 hours, uncovering for the last 2 hours.

Notes

Choose one dessert or make all three using low, gentle heat for best flavor.
