pecans, roughly chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place oyster crackers in a large mixing bowl.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar, stirring constantly and bringing to a boil.
Boil for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
Stir in maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
Pour mixture over oyster crackers and stir gently to fully coat.
Fold in chopped pecans, then spread mixture evenly onto prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden.
Cool completely, then break into clusters.
Store in an airtight container.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle warm bites with cinnamon sugar after baking.
