Instructions
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Add milk and egg and stir until smooth.
Fold in chopped onions until evenly coated.
Heat oil to 350°F in a skillet.
Drop spoonfuls of batter into oil and flatten slightly.
Fry 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
Notes
