Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease 6–8 muffin cups or ramekins.
Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
In another bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
Gradually stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
Fill each cup halfway with batter. Add chopped strawberries to the center and cover with more batter.
Bake for 18–22 minutes until cakes are set but centers remain gooey.
Cool slightly, remove from cups, and serve warm. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Serve warm for the best lava effect. Use ripe strawberries for maximum flavor.
