Ingredients

  • 4 cups crumbled cornbread
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup diced onion
  • 0.5 cup diced celery
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • Melt butter in a skillet and sauté onion and celery until softened.
  • Combine cornbread, vegetables, seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Gradually stir in chicken broth until moist but not soupy.
  • Transfer mixture to baking dish and bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes.

Notes

Adjust broth for preferred texture. Best served warm.
