Ingredients

  • 12-15 pieces large mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz crab meat, drained
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise or sour cream
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 pinch paprika or Old Bay seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Clean mushrooms, remove stems, brush caps with olive oil, and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • In a bowl, mix crab meat, cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic, mayonnaise, parsley, and seasoning.
  • Spoon filling generously into mushroom caps.
  • Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

Serve warm for best texture. Avoid freezing for optimal results.
