Ingredients

  • 6 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 8 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 12 oz cans evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Arrange frozen hash browns evenly in the dish.
  • Sprinkle cheese, ham, and green onions over the potatoes.
  • Whisk eggs, evaporated milk, garlic salt, and pepper together.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers.
  • Bake at 350°F for 1 hour 15 minutes if baking immediately.
  • If chilled, bake for 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • Rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.

Notes
