chopped walnuts
confectioners’ sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Mix in vanilla extract and salt until combined.
Add flour and chopped walnuts, stirring just until combined.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
Cool completely and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Dust with powdered sugar after cooling for a traditional finish.
