cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup

shredded Parmesan cheese

cloves
garlic, minced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a casserole dish.
Combine cream soup and garlic in a bowl, thinning with 2–3 tablespoons water if needed.
Layer half the potatoes in the dish, spread half the soup mixture, then repeat.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.
Cover and bake 45–55 minutes until potatoes are tender. Uncover for last 10 minutes to brown.
Notes
Cover while baking to soften potatoes, then uncover to brown the cheese.
