Ingredients

  • 21 oz apple pie filling
  • 15 oz yellow cake mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 medium apple, chopped (optional)
  • 0.25 cup sugar (optional topping)
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon (optional topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F and grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans.
  • Mash apple pie filling lightly in a large bowl.
  • Add cake mix, eggs, flour, cinnamon, and chopped apple if using. Mix until combined.
  • Divide batter evenly between pans and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
  • Bake 35–45 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Lightly mash the apple filling for even texture and avoid overmixing the batter.
