Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter. Pour batter into baking dish.
Mix brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, and salt. Stir in pecans.
Pour pecan mixture evenly over the batter without stirring.
Bake 40–50 minutes until golden and set. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Do not stir the layers before baking. Serve warm for best texture.
