crumbled unsweetened cornbread

onion, chopped

salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish.
Brown sausage in a skillet. Add onion and celery and cook until softened.
Combine cornbread, sausage mixture, sage, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
Stir in eggs and enough broth to create a moist mixture.
Transfer to baking dish and bake 40–45 minutes until golden and set.
Notes
Use unsweetened cornbread for authentic flavor. Moist but not soupy is the key.
