Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 oz baked beans in tomato sauce
  • 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15 oz pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef with chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in baked beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika.
  • Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake uncovered at 350°F for 30–35 minutes until hot and bubbling.

Notes

Serve with cornbread or as a side for grilled meats.
