Thousand Island dressing for dipping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment or spray with cooking spray.
Cook ground beef and onions over medium heat until browned. Season with salt and pepper and drain grease.
Roll out bread dough into a 12x18 inch rectangle on a floured surface.
Spread ketchup and mustard over the dough, leaving a small border.
Layer beef, bacon, pickles, and American cheese evenly across the dough.
Roll tightly from the long side and pinch seams to seal. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Brush the loaf with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Bake 20–25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
Cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with Thousand Island dressing.
Notes
Serve warm and pair with Thousand Island dressing for dipping. Slice after a brief cooling period for the cleanest layers.
