cream of mushroom or tomato soup (10–15 oz)

shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
salt and black pepper to taste

mixed vegetables (optional)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Brown ground beef with onion in a skillet. Season with salt and pepper and drain excess fat.
Stir in cooked pasta or rice and soup until well combined.
Transfer mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with cheese and optional crackers.
Bake 25–30 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
Notes
Swap pasta or rice and add vegetables as desired.
