salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Brown ground beef with onion in a large pot. Drain excess fat.
Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, kidney beans, and spices.
Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve hot.

Simmer uncovered for best thickness.
