Ingredients

  • 32 oz frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 10.5 oz condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1.5 cups sour cream
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix hash browns, 1 1/2 cups cheese, soup, sour cream, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread mixture evenly into prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle remaining cheese evenly over the top.
  • Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
  • Let rest a few minutes before serving.
