Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup powdered sugar or glaze (optional)

Instructions

  • Mix sliced peaches with sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Roll out puff pastry and spread a thin layer of peach filling over it.
  • Roll the pastry jelly-roll style, slice lengthwise, and twist into a cruffin shape.
  • Place each twisted pastry into a greased muffin tin.
  • Bake until golden brown and puffed.
  • Brush with melted butter and dust with powdered sugar or drizzle glaze if desired.

Notes

Use ripe but firm peaches for best texture. Serve warm for maximum flakiness.
