Ingredients

  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cubes chicken flavor cubes
  • 7 oz fideo noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 5 cups water
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pot over medium heat and toast fideo until golden.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Stir in onion, garlic, and tomato. Cook until softened.
  • Add potatoes, water, and chicken flavor cubes.
  • Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  • Season with salt and pepper and serve hot.

Notes

Add more water for a soupier texture or simmer longer for a thicker consistency.
