Ingredients

bread

butter, softened

garlic powder or minced garlic

cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
optional herbs such as parsley or oregano
Instructions
Mix butter with garlic and optional herbs.
Spread garlic butter on one side of each bread slice.
Place bread butter-side down in a skillet and add cheese on top.
Top with second slice, butter-side up, and cook until golden.
Flip once and cook until cheese is melted and bread is golden. Serve hot.
Notes
Cook over medium heat to prevent garlic from burning and allow cheese to melt.
