Ingredients

  • 2.5 lb chicken wings
  • 1.5 tbsp oil
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Pat the chicken wings dry, season with salt and pepper, and toss with oil.
  • Cook the wings using your preferred method until crisp and fully cooked.
  • Simmer pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
  • Stir in the cornstarch slurry and simmer until thick and glossy.
  • Toss the cooked wings with the warm pineapple glaze and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra caramelization, brush with more glaze and broil briefly before serving.
