Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F and arrange trimmed asparagus in a greased baking dish.
Melt butter in a skillet and stir in cream cheese, cream, broth, and seasonings until smooth.
Simmer sauce until thickened, then stir in cheeses until melted.
Spoon sauce over asparagus and sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
Bake 15 minutes, add bacon, and bake 3 more minutes. Serve warm.
