Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables
  • 15 oz diced tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups cooked rice, pasta, or potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  • Brown ground meat in a large skillet over medium heat and drain excess fat.
  • Add onion and cook until softened, then stir in garlic until fragrant.
  • Add vegetables, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
  • Stir in cooked rice, pasta, or potatoes until heated through.
  • Top with cheese, cover briefly, and let melt.
  • Serve warm with optional garnish.
