Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced (for shrimp)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 loaf French or Italian bread
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced (for bread)
  • 1.5-2 cups shredded mozzarella or Italian cheese blend
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Grill until pink and cooked through.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Slice bread and spread garlic butter evenly on both halves.
  • Top bread with shredded cheese and bake until melted and bubbly.
  • Top cheesy bread with grilled shrimp, garnish with parsley, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Do not overcook shrimp; remove from heat as soon as they turn pink.
