Ingredients

  • 2 small onions
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Peel onions, cut off the top, and make vertical cuts to create a bloom while keeping the root intact.
  • Set up breading stations with flour, beaten egg, and seasoned breadcrumbs.
  • Dip each onion into flour, then egg, then coat well with breadcrumbs.
  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F and spray onions lightly with oil.
  • Air fry for 10–15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
