Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 22 oz lemon pie filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened or cubed
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread lemon pie filling evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  • Scatter cream cheese evenly over the lemon filling.
  • Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the filling without stirring.
  • Drizzle melted butter over the top and bake 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

Do not stir the layers. Let the cake rest before serving for best texture.
