puff pastry, thawed

egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
Brown sausage and beef in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
Stir in flour, then gradually add milk until thick gravy forms.
Place one puff pastry sheet in dish, add filling, top with second sheet.
Brush with egg wash and bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes until golden.
Notes
Let the pie rest before slicing so the gravy sets.
