dark or semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

heavy cream

Instructions
Heat heavy cream until just beginning to simmer. Do not boil.
Pour hot cream over chopped chocolate and let sit for 1 minute.
Stir gently until smooth, then add butter and vanilla until glossy.
Use warm as a sauce or chill 30–60 minutes for a thicker dessert.
Notes
