Instructions
Cook bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Brown Italian sausage in a skillet, breaking it up as it cooks.
Add onion and cook until soft, then stir in garlic until fragrant.
Add diced tomatoes if using, then stir in cream and Italian seasoning.
Add pasta and Parmesan, toss until coated, and season to taste.
Notes
Adjust spice level by choosing mild or spicy sausage.
