Instructions
Mix crushed cookies with melted butter and press into a 9x13-inch dish. Chill.
Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
Spread cream cheese layer over crust and chill briefly.
Whisk pudding mix with milk until thick. Fold in whipped topping.
Spread pudding layer over cheesecake layer and chill.
Top with cherry pie filling and remaining whipped topping.
Sprinkle nuts if desired and chill several hours before serving.
Notes
Chill thoroughly between layers for clean slices and best texture.
