Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter (for frosting)
  • 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter (for frosting)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
  • 4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a sheet pan.
  • Whisk flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt together.
  • Melt butter and peanut butter, bring to a gentle boil, then remove from heat.
  • Stir dry ingredients into the hot mixture, then add milk, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Spread batter into pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Prepare frosting by melting butter and peanut butter, then stirring in milk and powdered sugar.
  • Spread warm frosting over cooled bars and let set before slicing.
