Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp apple cider, apple juice, lemon juice, or sherry/brandy
  • 1 lemon, zest and juice
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Combine heavy cream, sugar, acidic juice, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla in a bowl.
  • Whip until thick and stiff.
  • Cover and chill for at least 1 hour.
  • Serve cold and enjoy.

Notes

Chill the dessert for at least one hour to allow the flavors to develop and the texture to set.
